Private Aviation,
Curated Around
the Client

The Jet Merchants was founded to bring judgment, trust, and personal advocacy back into private aviation.

The Reason We Started

“I just want a fair price, someone I can trust, and not be bothered with all the details.”

Most clients were not asking for the cheapest option. They wanted quality aircraft, fair pricing, responsive service, and one trusted point of contact who knew the market and had their back.

They did not have time to keep up with a hundred different companies, changing program rules, rotating contacts, aircraft availability, peak-day restrictions, management proposals, ownership costs, and every new offer hitting their inbox.

From the outside, everything started to look the same. That is why we created The Jet Merchants.

Our role is to sit on the client’s side of the table — always.

Why "Merchants"

The word merchant once
meant more than seller.

The word merchant once meant more than seller.

A true merchant understood quality, knew the market, had trusted sources, and helped clients acquire the right goods with confidence.

That same philosophy guides The Jet Merchants today. We combine old-world service with modern private aviation intelligence — curating aircraft, operators, brokers, management firms, and preferred jet card providers so clients can navigate the market with confidence.

In an industry filled with noise and changes, we aim to be the constant.

What Clients Want

Four things every private flyer actually needs.

Experienced Guidance

Private aviation is too expensive and too nuanced to rely on guesswork. Clients want someone who understands the space and knows what questions to ask.

Quality Access at a Fair Price

The cheapest option is rarely the best option. We focus on quality aircraft, reputable providers, transparent pricing, and solutions that make sense for the mission.

Curated Providers

We do not overwhelm clients with every option. We help identify the right options across charter, jet cards, aircraft brokers, aircraft management companies, and ownership pathways.

Responsive Advocacy

Private aviation is still a people business. Clients want someone who answers, cares, anticipates needs, and can help when plans change.

The Jet Merchants Difference

We don't push
one solution.

Private aviation should not feel like a constant sales process. It should feel personal, informed, and well managed.

When To… Know Your Path.

Charter makes sense when you fly occasionally, have changing trip needs, or want access to different aircraft without a long-term commitment. It is often the best fit for clients who value flexibility, want to pay trip by trip, or are still learning what type of private aviation solution fits their travel profile. Charter is not always the cheapest long-term option, but it can be the smartest place to start.

A jet card may make sense when you fly often enough to want consistent access, simplified pricing, and less quote-by-quote decision-making. It can be a good fit for clients who want convenience, known service standards, and predictable terms without committing to fractional ownership or buying an aircraft. The key is understanding the fine print: peak days, aircraft category rules, service areas, fuel surcharges, recovery terms, expiration, and refundability.

Fractional ownership may make sense when your flying is consistent, your annual hours justify a larger commitment, and you want program-based access with a more structured service model. It can work well for clients who value consistency, availability, and a managed experience, but who are not ready to own and manage a whole aircraft. The decision should be based on total cost, contract terms, mission fit, and exit flexibility — not just hourly rate.

Aircraft ownership may make sense when you fly frequently, need control, value customization, or have a travel profile that makes whole aircraft ownership more efficient. Ownership can deliver the highest level of flexibility and consistency, but it also comes with acquisition risk, management decisions, crew, maintenance, insurance, hangar, tax, resale, and operational complexity. The aircraft purchase is only one decision. The ownership structure, management company, and operating plan matter just as much.

Expert help makes sense when the decision is expensive, the options are confusing, or the wrong choice could cost you time, money, flexibility, or service quality. That may be before buying a jet card, selecting a fractional provider, hiring an aircraft broker, choosing a management company, purchasing an aircraft, or simply reviewing whether your current solution is still the right fit.
